Okay so this was a moderately productive week. My group is steadily progressing through the project. In my essay, I have a thesis with points and other thoughts. I have yet to start writing the essay, but I plan on working on it some this weekend. Perhaps I am a bit behind, but on the other hand, who isn't? Procrastination is a habit that I feel develops, and develops, and by the time you are a senior in high school, it is fully developed. You take part in discussions in class, Google jokes and interesting facts, and before you know it you're doing nothing until 1 AM the night before it's due running on fumes and coffee. I sure hope this doesn't happen this time. However, you can't just stop a train. It's going to happen this time.
I missed class on Friday, so I still have to write the poem essay. These poems are getting harder and harder to anaylize. It's becoming a real burden to write a properly crafted explanation on something that could mean a thousand different things in just 40 minutes. Hell, it's hard enough to do this with no time limit, let alone just 40 minutes. I struggle with organizing my thoughts in the essays. They usually come out to one large lump of essay. It's very difficult for me to separate my ideas into paragraphs, each answering specific questions with an intro and conclusion. I hope i get better at this throughout the year.
