This week in AP lit came and went quickly, and everything sort of smoothed itself over. I sort of understand the concepts that I did not understand last week, and I am glad because the test is on Monday. I still need to finish the review assignment and look over the chapter because I did awful on the last quiz, and I really need to do well on this test to make up for it.
I still do not fully understand some of the properties and uses of them. Something throughout the chapter that I really have had not much understanding of was all of the derivatives with jerks and acceleration and position and speed and other confusing things. It really is unfortunate that I do not understand this because, well, it seems to be the only real world application of this whole chapter. It's like I have missed the whole point to this chapter, and that's not cool with me. I will further practice these problems, because they do seem to be relevant. I would love to be an engineer or work with physics or something similar, and this type of math will be important. Also, these problems seem to be something that would easily show up on the AP test.
My AP classes are finally starting to flex their muscles. I may not be enjoying it now but I think it is good for me because a year from now, i ill be in college. And with the classes I will be taking, it will all be much harder and more work than this, so it's good to get into the groove of having lots of work and individualized studying.
